ciao nic,
I totally agree with keith: few installs and many distros make adobe abandon linux (and never come back..).

Adobe targets iOS with a native exporter, I want to challenge you: why don't you do the same for linux? maybe a cool approach would be generating haxe code from as3 then export it to c++ and compile it for linux...
it's a DIY solution, but I think it can give a lot of satisfaction :)
ciao

Yeah, I use Linux Mint as my full time OS, and while I'd like to have AIR support continue, it's most likely not going to happen even if a bunch of developers sign a petition. You say your choices of OS are business oriented, and the reason you want AIR on Linux are business reasons. Well the reasons for Adobe dropping support are 100% business related. They can give you the exact numbers of end users installing AIR on Linux systems and they have determined that that the investment to keep developing AIR for Linux is not a good one. It sucks and I'm not happy with it, but the only thing that will change that is vastly more people on Linux using AIR, which isn't likely to happen at this point. Catch 22. So, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, personally.

Would love to be a part in your project whenever I have the time. Graphics, Music and more. I am no game designer, but I know some stuff that could help you make faster results. What I would like to see is more variation of "plants" and levels. Bonusmaterial is nice altso, "endless stages" and puzzles. Perhaps have better cheats then making "zombies" have glasses...
